    • 7 oz. dark chocolate, chopped 3.5 oz. white chocolate, chopped 4 oz. (1 stick) tiny chunks of unsalted butter

    • 1/3 cup ale 
    • 1 bag (10 oz) peanut butter chips

    7. Smooth the top of the mixture into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 minutes in the middle of the oven, flipping the pan during the process. Allow the brownies to cool completely before removing them from the pan with the parchment paper.
    8. Pour frosting over top of brownie as well as gently spread until thoroughly coated. Serve cut into squares.

    For the frosting:

    1. Melt chocolate crackers and ale in combination in a double boiler or microwaveable bowl over low heat, stirring until totally smooth. If you’re using a microwave, heat it in 20-second intervals, stirring the mixture in between. Allow ten minutes for the mixture to cool before spreading over the brownies.
